Dr. Ivan Goncharenko’s journey is a remarkable fusion of academic excellence and extensive practical experience. He pursued his higher education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and later obtained a second degree from Lund University in Sweden, specializing in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies. Further enhancing his academic credentials, he earned a PhD in Middle Eastern Studies
Upon graduating, Ivan served as a Middle East Affairs Consultant at the Israeli Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, contributing to diplomatic efforts on regional affairs.
Simultaneously, Ivan pursued his LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) and Master’s degree in International Law at Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Notably, he became the first Israeli citizen to receive an academic education in the UAE following the historic peace agreement between Israel and the Emirates.
